Dumbbell Romanian Deadlift
A dumbbell version of the Romanian deadlift, useful when a barbell isn't available.
Equipment: Dumbbells
How to do it
- 1Hold a dumbbell in each hand in front of your thighs, knees slightly bent.
- 2Push your hips back and lower the dumbbells along your legs, keeping your back flat.
- 3Lower until you feel a hamstring stretch, then drive your hips forward to stand back up.
Common mistakes
- Rounding the back to reach further down.
- Letting the dumbbells drift away from your legs instead of staying close.
