Medicine Ball Wall Ball
A squat-to-throw movement that combines lower-body strength with explosive power.
Equipment: Medicine ball
How to do it
- 1Hold a medicine ball at chest height and stand facing a wall, feet shoulder-width apart.
- 2Squat down, then explosively stand up while throwing the ball against the wall at a target above your head.
- 3Catch the ball as it rebounds and absorb it back into the next squat.
Common mistakes
- Throwing the ball mostly with the arms instead of using leg drive to power the throw.
- Letting the squat depth get shallow as fatigue sets in.
